Denmark gets campers going – New speed limit

From 1 July 2016, Denmark will increase the speed limit for caravan trailers and other trailers on Danish motorways to 100 km / h

Denmark changes its road traffic laws for passenger car trailers: As of 1 July this year, car-caravan combinations on the freeways in the Kingdom will have a speed limit of 100. So far, campers with caravans on the Danish motorways were only allowed to drive a maximum of 80 km / h. The Danish Ministry of Transport follows a regulation that has been in force in Germany for several years. The new law applies not only to caravans, but also to vehicles with other trailers such as boat trailers, tent trailers and other combinations. The condition is that trailers or caravans have a Danish 100 km / h approval for the higher speed.
